School Visits

Carla has years of experience teaching all ages in a variety of settings, including public school (where she taught high school and junior high science), community and homeschooling classes, school assemblies, scout groups, church groups, and more! She has a Masters degree in Science Education and is a certified National Geographic Educator.

She loves visiting schools and other groups, and leads dynamic, interactive presentations for all ages. You can request particular topics, or choose one of the following:

All in-person visits include a live picture book reading and a small souvenir for each attendee (usually a small rock, fossil, or crystal).
